The 36th match of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is currently underway at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, where IPL 2016 Finalists Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore are locking horns with each other for the first time this season. So far, it has been SRH’s match as they have bowled out RCB for just 68 runs. Virat Kohli could not open his account.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and decided to bowl first. The decision went in his franchise’s favor as Marco Jansen provided a fiery start to the innings. Jansen picked up three wickets in his first over. He sent the trio of Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat back to the dressing room.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore never recovered after the triple strike from Jansen. They eventually lost all their wickets for just 68 runs.
Speaking of Virat Kohli’s performance in the IPL 2022 match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, the right-handed batter edged the first ball he faced from Marco Jansen and Aiden Markram made no mistake in completing the catch.

The rivalry between Kane Williamson and Virat has always been an entertaining affair. A new chapter was added to that rivalry earlier tonight when the SRH skipper plotted Kohli’s dismissal to perfection. Just before Kohli faced his first ball, Kane placed a second slip.
