The 45th match of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is underway right now, where the Delhi Capitals are playing against the Lucknow Super Giants. LSG captain KL Rahul won the toss and decided to bat first at the Wankhede Stadium. The Super Giants scored 195/3 in their 20 overs. In reply, DC have gotten off to a great start thanks to Rishabh Pant and Mitchell Marsh.
Speaking about the first innings, the Lucknow Super Giants started well, thanks to a 42-run opening partnership between KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock. The right hand-left hand combination has worked well for the Lucknow-based franchise, but de Kock lost his wicket in the fifth over today.

“If you get a chance at the top you should utilize that chance and make the most of it to help the team. Rahul and I didn’t have a particular target in mind but we went about every delivery in the same manner. It is a very good total since the wicket is holding up a touch.”
