As always, the hype for the India vs Pakistan match at ICC events is at the next level in 2022. The two arch-rivals will go head-to-head in the second round of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. The iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground will host this big game. In 2021, fans saw Babar Azam’s men defeating Virat Kohli and co. by 10 wickets.
The Indian cricket team will be keen to avenge that loss when they take field at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on October 23. Some of the biggest names of world cricket like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Jasprit Bumrah and Shaheen Shah Afridi will be in action on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Fans should note that the seating capacity of MCG is 1 lakh, but the tickets for the match between India and Pakistan have been sold out just inside a few minutes. The India vs Pakistan match on October 23, 2022 is the biggest match of the year, and it will be interesting to see which nation comes out on top this time.
The record at the ICC events is still in India’s favor. Except the T20 World Cup 2021 match, the Indian cricket team has never lost a World Cup match to the Pakistan cricket team. The two teams faced off in Australia during the 2015 World Cup, where a century from Kohli helped the Men in Blue win the match.
Fans excited to see Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma vs. Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam

It is really hard to get tickets for India vs Pakistan match at the World Cup every time. Even today tickets sold out in minutes. In 2016 during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, I had to buy tickets for New Zealand match after I couldn’t check out for hours for the big game.
