Gujarat Titans have become one of the most popular franchises on social media even though they have played just a solitary season of the Indian Premier League. The Ahmedabad-based franchise won the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, becoming only the second team after the inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals to win the title in their debut season itself.

One of the main reasons behind the success of the Gujarat Titans franchise was the leadership and all-round brilliance of their skipper Hardik Pandya. The Baroda-based all-rounder led the team from the front in all three departments. Eventually, he got to lift the Indian Premier League trophy for the first time as a captain in his career.

Last night, Pandya stole the show with a magnificent all-round performance against the Pakistan cricket team in the 2022 edition of Asia Cup. He scored an unbeaten 33 and took three wickets with the ball to help the Indian cricket team register a five-wicket win.

Will Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya play together for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023?

During the match, Pandya had a great partnership with Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who is reportedly not in touch with his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings. Some fans think that Jadeja will leave CSK, and the caption of a post by GT on Twitter, made a few of them wonder if he is coming to GT.

“𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒖𝒔: “Dhokla, fafda, khakra, Hardik-Jaddu aapda!” (English translation: Dhokla, fafda, khakara, Hardik and Jaddu are ours.)

While it may just be a normal chant in the Gujarati language, some fans have tried to link it with the rumors of Jadeja’s rift with CSK. Also, GT is the home franchise of Jadeja as he is from Jamnagar. It will be interesting to see if Jadeja moves to Gujarat or continues to play for the Chennai Super Kings team.
