This match is happening at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and invited Punjab Kings to bat first. Bhanuka Rajapaksa enjoyed the time in the middle as he scored 31 runs off nine balls.

The Punjab Kings captain Mayank Agarwal could not impress much as he lost his wicket to Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler Umesh Yadav on the last ball of the first over. Next, Bhanuka Rajapaksa came into the middle and smashed 31 runs off just nine balls, smacking three fours and three sixes.
