Ravindra Jadeja is one of the best all-rounders that India has at the moment. He has proved time and time again that he is good with both the bat and ball. That is why he is a vital asset for Team India across all three formats. Because the all-rounder provides the right balance to the team in both departments.

Not just for India, Jadeja is the backbone of his IPL franchise, Chennai Super Kings. And it will not be a wrong statement to say that he is one of the prime reasons for the success of CSK in the IPL. But the last season was totally different for both Jadeja and the Chennai Super Kings. The franchise handed over the captaincy to the all-rounder. But it didn’t work and backfired on them.

As a result, he handed back the captaincy role back to MS Dhoni and was later injured and ruled out of the season. Since then, rumours of a rift between him and the franchise have been buzzing among the fans. Many fans believe that the all-rounder might switch teams in the next season. On top of that, one post from Ravindra Jadeja made the fans believe that he is likely to join the Mumbai Indians.

Jadeja, who is currently with the Indian team on the West Indies tour, shared a photo of him wearing the Indian kit on his Twitter account with a caption of “Blue addiction”. Since then, fans have speculated that he will join the five-time champions for the upcoming season.

On the other hand, MI fans have started to believe that they will see Jadeja in an MI kit next season. However, if it happens, then certainly Rohit Sharma will be the happiest person. He himself would like to have India’s star all-rounder in his team. Because MI had a terrible last season and would look to bounce back.

Notably, last month, Jadeja removed all the CSK posts from 2021 and 2022 from his Instagram handle. This led to even more sparks. This was noticed as a major indication of the rift between him and CSK. However, he also didn’t wish MS Dhoni on his birthday this year, which he used to do every year. So it might look like there is something that will be revealed only next season.
