Former Indian batsman, Sachin Tendulkar, is perhaps the greatest batsman to have played the game. The Little Master holds many records in the batting department. He is the highest run-scorer in the history of international cricket. He is also one of the few batsmen with a double hundred in ODIs and a century in the IPL.

Speaking of Tendulkar, the top order player also bowled right-arm leg-spin. The Indian captains used him as a part-time bowler quite often. One can even state that Tendulkar was an underrated all-rounder. The fact that Tendulkar bowled 8,054 deliveries in ODIs signifies the same, and some veteran bowlers bowled fewer balls than him. Here’s a look at six bowlers from that group.

However, the right-arm pacer from South Africa bowled almost 2,000 deliveries lesser than Sachin Tendulkar. Playing for Africa XI and South Africa in his ODI career, Steyn appeared in 125 games, bowling 6,256 balls and scalping 196 wickets.

5.Malcolm Marshall

Another all-time great to feature on this list is the former Caribbean pace bowler Malcolm Marshall. The pace bowler, who was one of the most dangerous bowlers of the 80s, played 136 ODI games for the West Indies team.

Marshall bowled 7,175 deliveries in his career, and his best bowling figures were 4/18. Surprisingly, he did not take a single five-wicket haul in his career though he took four wickets in an innings six times.
