2.Shoaib Akhtar
Nicknamed as The Rawalpindi Express, Shoaib Akhtar holds the record for the fastest delivery bowled in international cricket history. Akhtar was the backbone of the Pakistani bowling attack during his active days as a cricketer.
Although he was always involved in controversies, Akhtar managed to pick up 247 ODI wickets in his career. To take those wickets, the right-arm quick bowled 7,764 deliveries, a few lesser than what Sachin Tendulkar bowled in his long ODI career.
1.Imran Khan
The current Prime Minister of Pakistan and the only Pakistani captain to lead his team to the ICC World Cup win, Imran Khan, had a very long international career. He was one of the best players to have ever played for Pakistan.
Being an all-rounder, Khan had the responsibility to do well in both the departments. Despite playing for 18 years, Imran could not match Sachin Tendulkar’s tally of balls as he bowled 7461 balls and picked up 182 wickets. The former Pakistani skipper turned up in 175 matches for his team, where he took three four-wicket hauls and one five-wicket haul. His best bowling figures were 6/14, and his economy rate in ODIs was 3.89.
