Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan recently picked his all-time IPL XI. Always fans form their all-time IPL XI, and over the last three-four years, there has been a trend of cricket experts and cricketers forming their all-time XIs. The latest name to join the trend is the current Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Shakib.
During a recent interaction with Sportskeeda, Shakib Al Hasan was asked to form his all-time IPL XI. He picked eight Indians and three overseas cricketers in his XI. He started off by picking former Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner and current Mumbai Indians team captain Rohit Sharma as the two opening batsmen of his team.
Shakib then formed a stellar all-Indian middle-order featuring the highest run-getter of IPL Virat Kohli, Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Suresh Raina, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni and Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul. These four batsmen can destroy any bowling attack in the world.
Shakib decided to assign the responsibility of leading the team and keeping the wickets to MS Dhoni. Interestingly, he did not name a specialist spinner in his all-time IPL XI.
The KKR all-rounder decided to go with the trio of pace bowlers namely Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Here is full all-time IPL XI picked by Shakib.
