The year 2020 has proven to be the worst one for cricket fans as the Coronavirus pandemic has forced all cricket boards to stop or postpone their matches. BCCI has indefinitely suspended IPL 2020. Even if the tourney happens this year, it is unlikely that there will be spectators in the stadium.

Nevertheless, one should always stay optimistic about the future and speaking of the upcoming years, the Indian cricket team will witness a major revolution. After five years, i.e. in the year 2025, not all of the current Indian cricketers would be active in the international arena. Some would have retired, while some might lose their place after some inconsistent performances.

There are a plethora of youngsters in the country who have what it takes to play international cricket and here is India’s predicted playing XI in ODIs after five years.

He has 3 ODI double hundreds to his name, and perhaps, by 2025, he could have added three more 200s to his name.

Yashasvi Jaiswal may soon break into the Indian team. While Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill have the talents to play in the Indian team, the team management may prefer Jaiswal because he is a left-handed batsman. The youngster can also contribute in the bowling attack.
