New Zealand batsman Devon Conway caught eyes of many thanks to his spectacular performance against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2021, not with the bat or ball, but his performance on the field when the Kiwi took a flying superman type catch to dismiss Mohammad Hafeez.
Pakistan cricket team‘s winning run has got a big boost and continues in the T20 World Cup 2021. After getting past India in the first match, Pakistan has been successful in beating New Zealand and now its way to reach the semi-finals has become easier.
Even though Pakistan may have won, New Zealand’s Devon Conway caught such a stunning catch during the match that he is now getting remarked as the famous superhero ‘Superman’.
When Pakistan’s innings was going on, Mitchell Santner came to bowl in the 11th over and Mohammad Hafeez went ahead and played a big shot. Then Devon Conway, standing on the boundary line, made a run to his left and took a long diving catch in the air. This catch by Conway is already considered to be the best catch of the T20 World Cup 2021 tournament so far.
However, this catch of Devon Conway did not benefit his team and in the end Pakistan defeated New Zealand by five wickets. This is the second consecutive victory for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2021.

The coin once again fell in favour of Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, who like the first match against India, opted to go with the ball first.
New Zealand put up 134 runs on the board with the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell scored the most, 27 runs each for New Zealand. Haris Rauf was the pick of the bowler with 4 wicket for Pakistan.
Pakistan then comfortably chased down the target of 135 runs and registered a comfortable 5 wickets victory. Rizwan was the highest scorer with the bat as he scored 33 runs in 34 balls. But it was Asif Ali who gave the Pakistan inning the finishing touch as he scored a quickfire 27 runs of 12 balls with 3 big sixes.
