The first match had ended in the Indian cricket team’s favor, and now the visitors are on the verge of a historic victory. During the second match of the ICC World Test Championship series, there was a heated exchange between former Mumbai Indians teammates Jasprit Bumrah and Marco Jansen.
The two players played together for the Mumbai Indians in 2021, but now in 2022, the two players had a heated confrontation while on national duty. The aforementioned exchange happened during the second innings of the Indian cricket team when Jasprit Bumrah was batting in the middle, and Marco Jansen bowled to him.
It was during the 54th over of the Indian cricket team’s second innings. The score was 230/8 in the second innings when Marco Jansen came in to bowl the 54th over. In the first four deliveries that Jansen bowled, three hit Bumrah on the body. The first one, the third one and the fourth one. After Jansen hit him twice in a row, Bumrah had a heated exchange with him.
Bumrah played two more dot deliveries as it proved to be a maiden over for the South African cricket team. Although the Indian cricket team star could not respond to the words from Jansen with his bat in that over, he did smash a big six off Kagiso Rabada’s bowling in the very next over. The Indian innings has ended now with Bumrah’s final score being seven.
