Virat Kohli has sent a tweet to Babar Azam after the Pakistan cricket team skipper showed support to him amid the tough phase of his international career. Kohli has not scored a hundred for the Indian cricket team since almost three years and he has had a poor run with the bat in the ongoing tour of England so far.

Many cricket experts have given different opinions on the poor performance of Virat. While some have said that he should take a break from the sport, some have opined that he should go back and play some domestic matches to regain his form.

Babar Azam showed some support to him with the following tweet on social media yesterday:

Fans were waiting to see what Virat would reply to his Pakistani counterpart. Ending the wait of the fans, Kohli replied to Babar Azam:

“Thank you. Keep shining and rising. Wish you all the best.”

Kevin Pietersen has also backed Virat Kohli to come back stronger

Quite a few cricketers have shown support to Kohli of late and one of them is former England cricket team captain Kevin Pietersen. Pietersen took it to Instagram to leave a comment under Kohli’s recent post. He wrote:

“You go big guy! People can only dream about what you’ve done in cricket. And they’re some of the best players that have played the game.”

The positive comments would help Kohli a lot. He will be keen to regain his focus and play a big knock tomorrow at Old Trafford when the Indian cricket team plays in the final ODI of their series against the England cricket team. The series stands level at 1-1 right now with the decider set to take place tomorrow.
