Wasim Jaffer hilariously trolled Michael Vaughan on Twitter after England suffered an embarrassing defeat against West Indies. England have struggled a lot in Test cricket of late. The fact that they are the last-placed team in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship suggests how poor they have been.
Michael Vaughan once led the England team to a historic Test series win on West Indies’ soil. However, the current squad lost to the West Indies team by 0-1 in an ICC World Test Championship series. Many fans of England have blamed the Indian Premier League for their team’s poor show in Test cricket. In fact, Joe Root and Ben Stokes decided against playing in the IPL to focus on Test cricket.
However, Root, Stokes and other England batters could not impress much in the Grenada Test against West Indies. Batting first, England were all out for 204 runs. Fans should note that tail-enders Jack Leach and Saqib Mahmood stitched a 90-run partnership for England and saved the team from an embarrassing first innings score.

In the second innings, England were all out for just 120 runs. During the match, a statistic popped up and showed that England’s team got more runs from extras than most of their batters. Joe Root scored 1,708 runs , followed by Rory Burns and then extras scored 412 runs in 2021.
Even in the innings where England lost 10 wickets for 120 runs, extras scored 21 runs. So trolling Vaughan, Jaffer wrote on Twitter:
