Former Royal Challengers Bangalore batter Nic Maddinson is currently playing for Victoria in the Sheffield Shield. Earlier today, fans witnessed action from the final day of the battle between Western Australia and Victoria in the Sheffield Shield, where both teams played out a draw.
Since the result was a formality in the final overs of the play, batter Nic Maddinson decided to have some fun. He bowled one of the deliveries with the action of current Indian cricket team star Jasprit Bumrah. The Ahmedabad-based fast bowler has a unique action, which almost every cricket fan would have tried at least once.
Maddinson decided to bowl it in a domestic cricket match. The match ended in a stalemate, with Maddinson returning with figures of 0/13 in five overs. He also bowled a maiden over.
Soon after the official handle of cricket.com.au posted a video clip of Nic Maddinson bowling in Jasprit Bumrah’s style, it went viral on social media, with fans even labeling Maddinson the left-handed version of Bumrah.
