Adam Gilchrist was the wicket-keeper of the Australian team during their golden era. The left-handed batsman played several memorable knocks for them. However, during the 2003 World Cup semifinal against Sri Lanka, Gilchrist nicked a ball, and it landed straight into the hands of the fielder. The umpire did not declare him out. Still, he walked back to the pavilion, showing the Spirit of Cricket.

Every batsman loves to break records in cricket, but Mark Taylor was not that type of a player. Batting against Pakistan in 1998, Mark Taylor reached an individual score of 334, when Day 2 ended. He had the option of breaking Don Bradman’s long-standing record of the highest personal score by an Aussie. However, he declared the innings overnight.
