He, along with Shane Warne, played a vital role in inspiring the youngsters to the title. Lehmann featured in only two games, scoring 18 runs at a strike rate of 100. He played his last match against Kings XI Punjab.

Another Australian batsman who just played one season for Rajasthan Royals was Damien Martyn. The right-handed batsman, who played 208 ODIs for his nation, could only play one IPL match in 2010 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Martyn scored 19 runs off 24 balls in that game and then never returned to the competition.
