Andre Nel, the South African fast bowler, led the international team’s bowling attack for some time before getting lost in the mix. The Proteas bowler played 79 ODIs and 34 Tests for his country. His impressive performances earned him a deal from Mumbai Indians in 2008. Shaun Pollock was also a part of Mumbai then. However, Nel received only one opportunity to prove himself. Playing against Delhi Daredevils, Nel got out for a diamond duck and took one wicket in three overs.
1.Shivnarine Chanderpaul
Shivnarine Chanderpaul was one of the best defensive batsmen of his era. The left-handed batsman, like Rahul Dravid, had gained the tag of a Test specialist. However, both the veterans silenced their critics when they became a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2008.
Chanderpaul made his IPL debut against Mumbai Indians and played his last match against Kolkata Knight Riders. The Caribbean legend aggregated 25 runs in three matches, with his highest score being 16.
