The Indian cricket team is the only team in ODI cricket history to have won the 50-overs World Cup and also the 50-overs World Cup. Unlike the T20 format, the teams cannot win an ODI riding on just one batsman’s knock. It requires a special knock from the batsman to ensure that the team wins just because of his inning. However, that does not happen frequently in 50-overs cricket and it rises the value of partnerships. Long partnerships can break the back of the opposition team and it means partnership for any wicket.

The Indian cricket team has had many legendary partnerships in the past. In this article, we will look at the highest Indian partnership for each wicket in ODIs.
